'Propel' on show

On Sunday, June 20, artist Laura Facey opened the exhibition called 'Propel', an installation of wood carvings and limited-edition prints at the Rocktowa Studio and Art Gallery, downtown Kingston. The exhibition surveys works from the last four years, including four-colour woodcuts from the 2006 'Everything Doors' show, interspersed with new mahogany, cedar and lignum vitae sculptural works of 'Propel'. Also on show are works from the visiting artists from Haiti now in the residency programme at Rocktowa. 'Propel' will continue through to July 13.
