Dolphin Cove, the marine attraction run by Stafford Burrowes, is soon to go public.

"The future of the [tourism] industry is extremely exciting and we intend to raise additional equity financing for the company with a listing on the Junior Stock Exchange," Burrowes said Tuesday while addressing PanCaribbean's 'Breakfast and the Economy' forum in Kingston, according to a PanCaribbean release.

Dolphin Cove, which began operations in Ocho Rios, is currently finalizing another marine park in Hanover.

Burrrowes anticipates that the new cruise shipping port soon to begin accepting megaship calls in Falmouth, will drive up visitor numbers and bring additional business to his and other attractions on the North Coast.

John G. Byles, co-managing director of Chukka Caribbean Adventures, who also addressed the forum, confirmed that his company was investing more than US$2 million to broaden its adventure tours with an emphasis on the historical importance of Falmouth, and incorporating Good Hope Estate and Great House.
