Alf Investments Limited, a property management and real estate development company owned by two Mahfoods, is awaiting permission to launch a $1 billion residential development in Kingston.

Robert Taylor, legal counsel for Alf Investment, said through one of its subsidiaries, the company has applied to the Real Estate Board, the National Environment and Planning Agency, and the Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation to develop a townhouse development at Graham Heights in St. Andrew.

If the company gets the nod, it will be developing 40 townhouses on four acres of land at Graham Heights, Taylor said.
