Travia Smart is elated to be fitted with the 'Burgundy Jacket' by Nigel Coke, communication, public affairs and religious liberty director of the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, after she was named top female student in the Department of Communication Studies at the Northern Caribbean University in Manchester yesterday. Smart and Vashan Brown are two third-year mass communication students who have been recognised by the department for having the highest grade point average score of 3.62 each, as they prepare for their final year. - Contributed
