THREE MEN from August Town, St Andrew, who shot and killed a man in July 2004, have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
Senior Puisne Judge Gloria Smith, in passing sentence yesterday, ordered that they must each serve 25 years' imprisonment before they can be eligible for parole.
They are Omar Blake, 34, Omar Dunkley, 29, and Jason Coley, 28, who were found guilty on April 11 of the murder of Michael Curtis of August Town.
The Crown, represented by attorney-at-law Kathy Pyke and Crown Counsel Leighton Morris, led evidence in the Home Circuit Court that the murder took place on July 20, 2004, in an area called Vietnam in August Town.
