Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) officers elevated

MORE THAN 100 members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) have been rewarded for their good work with promotions.
They include a St Ann-based sergeant, Gary Francis, who jumps one rank to the position of deputy superintendent.
Police Commissioner Owen Ellington yesterday announced the promotion of 10 women and 41 men to the rank of deputy superintendent.
A further 19 women and 71 men were promoted to the rank of inspector.
The new inspectors have been placed on six months' probation.
Head of the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) Steve Brown, said that crime fighters Wayne Josephs, Robblin Wederburn, and Oral Pascoe are among those promoted to deputy superintendent.
They are joined by Woman Inspector Cupie Collier-Dobson, who came to national attention as a grief counsellor in Tivoli Gardens.
Those promoted to the rank of inspector include Dahlia Garrick, who was once the voice of the CCN, and Cheree Greaves, who is now based at the CCN.
