Brothers at war; one dead

Mavis Bank, St Andrew:

A dispute between two brothers within the Mavis Bank community of St Andrew early yesterday morning has left one dead and the other in hospital in serious but stable condition.

Details of the incident were not available up to news time.

However, police sources say the incident took place around 1 a.m. yesterday.

According to the police, both brothers had a quarrel, which escalated into a fight, and during the process, a knife was used by one to stab the other brother known only as Marvin.

He was subsequently rushed to the University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
