Ex-JDF member heldfor ganja possession

An ex-member of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) was arrested yesterday by members of the Mandeville police after the motor vehicle he was driving was searched and a quantity of ganja found.
His identity has been withheld pending further investigations.
Reports are that about 6:30 a.m., the police stopped and searched the motor vehicle - a Toyota motorcar - along the Hatfield main road in Manchester. They found the ganja, which weighed about 470 pounds and was reportedly ready for export.
