Citibank NA and its subsidiary Citifinance Limited have relocated from New Kingston to leased offices at the corner of Hillcrest Avenue and Hope Road.
The corporate bank will operate from a newly built 30,000-square foot three-storey building designed by local architects Clifton Yap and built by developer Peter Rousseau of Matrousse Holdings Limited.
"This location afforded us the opportunity to design our premises in keeping with our corporate banking focus," said Citi Country Officer Peter Moses, in a company statement.
Citibank has operated in Jamaica since 1960 and has over 75 staff members.
Its clientele spans multinational corporations and their local subsidiaries, financial institutions, large local companies and public-sector and government institutions.
Its parent Citigroup does business in 160 markets and manages some 200 million customer accounts.
