This year's American Chamber of Commerce of Jamaica (AmCham) Business and Civic Leadership Awards gala and presentation, was a glitzy affair held at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, New Kingston, on Monday night. The prestigious organisation saw the movers and shakers of corporate Jamaica in attendance.

AMCHAM of Jamaica exists to:

Ensure trade opportunities between Jamaica and the United States.

Promote Jamaican exports.

Provide Jamaican and American business people with a forum to advocate public policies that will enhance the business climate between the two countries.

Maintain a climate of cordiality between the public and private sectors of both countries, and to promote greater understanding between their people.
