Who could have seen?
Who could have seen
That PNP would sweep it so clean?
I thought I was dreaming
When I watched Mama give the youth a beating
Who could imagine
That Andrew's beating would be so harsh?
The pollster called it for the Labourites
but most would cry that night
The Jamaica Labour Party
had one of the only prime ministers in the world under 40
They said it was 'young people time'
But fate and destiny had a woman in mind
This whole election was a surprise
from Bruce stepped down and Andrew started to rise
It is a mystery
How Mama P and PNP got such a big victory
If somebody had told me, I would have called it a lie
Who could have seen it?
Big time ministers losing seats
They said Mama P
was vulgar and loud
But in the end she made her party proud
Who could have guessed
That the education minister couldn't pass the test?
What an upset in Parliament
Rasta reach the government.

Night calls
Night calls
But love yearns
In the night
So cold and lonely
And the sheets
Can't stop you from shivering
Or cool your temperature
That's when I require
Your love
Love so sweet
When the night closes
Like a blank page
I yearn your indulgence
Unravelling my hidden mystery
Riveting
Inhale
Exhale
Sweating impulsively
Tasting of savoury
Sulken love
Like cherry dripping
From mouth
Flowing through me
Like a river to stream
And I yearn
And I scream
When the night calls
But love yearns.

Where am I?
Where am I?
Why did you take me away?
My parents must be worried
I must get back now
Take me back, will you?
And who are these people?
I don't like this place
No friendly face
So strange and so far
So cold and so dark
I don't like it here
Please take me back home.

Happy New Year!
It's 2012, a time to delve into all that life has to offer
We shall not suffer
Yes, we will buffer any negative that comes our way
We will therefore utter words of
goodwill and power because we are a mighty race
This is a year to rebuild what was torn down
Plant, manufacture and produce much to put
our country on the competitive edge
No time to waste, make haste, stay awake, sober and strong
Our country hangs on a strand
Spend each minute in a productive mode as your face and
book can take away your outlook on what it takes to make
our nation great so other countries can tweet about us
Mighty and strong we are
A nation of great people proud and strong
Happy new year to all Jamaicans near and far
Make our name
Spread to all corners of the world in a positive way today
tomorrow and years to come because we are a mighty
race
Greatness is our fortress!
We shall never falter!
