GungoWalk Festival rescheduled

Regrettably, the GungoWalk World-Alternative Music and Arts Festival hosted by Joy Mechanics in association with the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, originally scheduled for Saturday, August 25 has been postponed, on the strong recommendation of the Meteorological (MET) Office of Jamaica. The MET Office has revealed that weather conditions will progressively worsen from the effects of Tropical Storm Isaac and, therefore, the hosting of an outdoor event will not be feasible for the weekend.

The festival's steering committee has moved to reschedule the event to Saturday, September 1, previously planned time of 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. We regret any inconvenience that this postponement may have caused and look forward to your continued support, as we work towards a successful rescheduling.
