Guests, prospective customers and car lovers all turned out in their fashionable numbers to witness the launch of the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class: the pulse of a new generation.

The organisers definitely brought their A-Game as valet parking with complimentary Mercedes-Benz escort service, bright dazzling lights, pulsating house music, chic blue and white décor, delectable hors d'oeuvres and desserts, and mixed drinks provided by Appleton Jamaica, all blended to provide the perfect backdrop for the A-Class vehicles on fine display. This was the scene last Friday at Silver Star Motors Limited, home of Mercedes-Benz, on South Camp Road.

The highly anticipated automobile event saw many examining the vehicles in the showroom. Some admired the sports-like exterior while others made themselves at home in the comfortably innovative interior. Sales representatives were kept busy explaining the colourfully modern features to potential customers. Features such as: HOLD function, command online, iPad integration, lane-keeping assist, attention assist, active parking assist with reversing camera, collision-prevention assist, and fully electric seat adjustment including memory function, all kept the audience totally engaged.

These features created quite a buzz at the event, with ambassadors as well as entertainers considering the A-Class their choice in automobile heaven. To solidify their decision, Mercedes-Benz took things a step further. They decided to give potential customers the opportunity to sign up for a test drive whereby sales representatives from Mercedes-Benz would visit those customers giving them the chance to take that A-Class out for a spin.
