Infamous election

1. People attending a political meeting in soca land were recently regaled with stories of how the infamous election was rigged. Fingers are being pointed at the paramour of the boss who is said to have answered, "Oui" "Oui" in casting her vote. But according to the tale, she was sitting in someone else's seat and was instructed to vote using the appropriate term - Oui! Oui!

Tinted JUTC

2. Some people have been asking why JUTC buses are so heavily tinted. They argue that so many unsavoury things have occurred on these public carriers over time that it would be a good thing if, say the police, were able to see what is happening in these vehicles.

Tablets vs nutrition

3. Everywhere one goes these days, the talk is about tablets. Many are convinced perhaps a good place to start if we want to revolutionise education is with proper nutrition, for so many children are malnourished or hungry, which impedes learning. Others say the tablets will simply be locked away in the principal's office as often happens with other high-tech equipment. By the way, who is supplying these tablets?

Whispers! Whispers!

4. Mystery surrounds the whereabouts of a vital piece of equipment which was recently donated to a public-health institution. There are whispers, however, that it can be found in a private institution - if that is correct, then 'how did it get there?' is the million-dollar question.
