Where's the brief?

1. Folks have been searching high and low for the missing brief. And to think of how hallowed the grounds from where it disappeared has been.Thank goodness, there was a fly on the wallso many are hopeful that the all-seeing eye will shortly reveal details of the heist.

Disney is coming?

2. Lore has it that bureaucratic bungling denied Disney's presence in Jamaica decades ago. Now it seems Disney is making its way back to the rock. This is the boost that sector leaders seem to have been craving for a long while.

Selfish politicians

3. The cassava turnaround and the admission from one official that the idea became a political "football" is a pretty good indication of how selfish politicians will withholdsupport for an idea in the name of politics. Who really cares about the good of this country? Definitely, party before country, from all we see.

Phds galore!

4. Someone needs to do the research to confirm whetherJamaica has more PhDs per square mile than most countries. Take the religious community as an example,preachers armed with doctorates are falling over each other and most of these have been earned and not offered gratuitously. Surely all this knowledge should help to enhance the education system!

Property grief

5. The grief over property confiscation is far from over. From all indications, demands are still being made of persons who have been trodden under foot by the economic realities of high interest rate - and this is being undertaken in the misnomer of redevelopment.
