  • Economic crisis

Economic crisis!

That's what wi in

Out of everything, why this?

Dat everybody asking?

Will it get better or will it get worse?

This Jamaica lan'

Crime and crisis, there mus' be a curse

on dis yah islan'

They want all of us to leave school with ten ones

But is the Government willing to pay

Jamaica is losing all its fans,

So everybody waan fly away

Is hundred a fi wi dollar coin Uncle Sam affi get

before wi can even get one degge degge dolla

Wi hav wi good good nation but wi gone inna debt

jus because wi love falla.

Everyday dem a spen money on unnecessary things

wat is left outta weh dem nuh thief

dem buy themselves car, if they could they'd buy wings

But that's only the brief

What to do, what to do?

IMF, save us!

But we know that dem ago nyam out di money fi true

All dem a kick up rumpus

The country need to be reformed

It can no longer be one man for himself.

Corruption need to be torned

Pretend it's Christmas and every Jamaican is an elf.

We can build our nation,

We can make it better

But not with the disruption and corruption

Pulling down the lever

We need to come together to end this

Only if we become one, we can come out of the economic crisis.
