Indashio for Turks & Caicos Fashion Week

New York-based international celebrity fashion designer INDASHIO is the first to be announced out of many that will showcase during the premiere fashion, design and style events of Turks and Caicos Islands Fashion Week (TCIFW). INDASHIO, from the tender age of 19, made his name at fashion weeks around the world. One of the youngest designers to present during New York Fashion Week, the designer-turned-reality star received international acclaim, including winning the VH1 'Glam God' series hosted by Vivica Fox.

This world-class designer's clothes have graced the pages of ELLE, InTouch Weekly, USA Today, and many more, and he has attracted the likes of trendsetting celebrities like Amber Rose, Kim Kardashian, and Nicki Minaj, just to name a few.

With his recognition, there is no doubt why he was considered and invited to take part in TCIFW, which the designer is excited about.

TCIFW will enhance all aspects of fashion events in the Turks and Caicos Islands by featuring fine local, regional and international designers and boutiques presenting exquisite garments and accessories, supporting local schools' alternative career programmes, highlighting local culture, history and entertainment, promoting business generation, facilitating workshops, hosting exhibitions of art, and luxury products and services, exciting the interest of regional and international media, and support marketing the Turks and Caicos Islands to the world.

Designers presenting at TCIFW 2014 include: Andrew Harris Collection of Barbados; Haiti's David Andre and Miko Guillaume; Bahamas' Hardour Collection by Anthea Bullard and House of Raphelita by David Rolle; DrennaLUNA by Arlene Martin of Jamaica; New York's INDASHIO; and Turks and Caicos' own Ja'D by Kadrica Hamilton, JerittJermell by Jermell Williams, and Saint George Fashion by Kazz Forbes.

Turks and Caicos Islands Fashion Week 2014 will take place March 26 - 29 with a Fashion Party on Friday, March 28th and a Designers' Grand Runway Fashion Show to be hosted by America's Next Top Model Cycle 9 and Cycle 17 All-Star Bianca Golden, on Saturday, March 29, at Brayton Hall, Providenciales.

Already dubbed the Turks and Caicos Islands' premiere fashion, design and style event; the Turks and Caicos Islands will soon join the rest of the world as a fashion-forward destination, and jump-start and boost the country's fashion industry.
