WESTERN BUREAU:

Owner of Liberty/Hertz Car Rentals - Jamaica, Barry Jenoure, was surprised by his friends, who hosted a birthday dinner in his honour Tuesday night at the Montego Bay Yacht Club in Montego Freeport.

Jenoure, an extremely quiet person who shies away from cameras, gave an all-access 'press pass' to The Gleaner's Today, allowing the team to not only dine with him, but to share this special occasion of cutting a time machine-inspired birthday cake, which took him back to the age of 30 years old.

Organised by best friend, attorney-at-law Nathan Robb, who also wears the hat of president of the Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Jenoure's better half, Lisa Coulton, a real-estate broker based in Florida, the two had the task of keeping the event under wraps.

delicious food

However, one very important aspect that was not kept a secret was the feast of delicacies that appeared from the kitchen of Robbie Joseph's Seahorse Grill.

Obviously prepared with love by the hands of the expert chef and his culinary team, they presented a feast fit for a king and some of the most tastefully done food this side of the region.

Those in attendance included Fred Smith, managing director of Exclusive Holidays; Suzette Thompson; attorney-at-law, Clayton Morgan; renowned heart specialists, Drs Glen and Suzanne Lalljie; Half Moon's Jackie Robb and her attorney daughter, Nateline Cato; and musicologist, Walter 'Stretch' Robinson.
