The Romans are coming for Carnival Saturday
The Romans are coming, and they are fully prepared to launch an A.M.BUSH tomorrow, Carnival Saturday, in a J'Ouvert street party like no other.
The rising sun, music, moving trucks, paint, powder, drinks, breakfast and sheer revelry are all elements of this unique experience.
Extremely popular in Trinidad and Tobago, Caesar's Army brings this alternative J'Ouvert concept to Jamaica. The army and its soldiers will assemble at 2 a.m. at an undisclosed venue. Patrons can expect chipping along the streets covered in paint, powder and more, accompanied by music trucks, drinks, food and, most of all, vibes.
Caesar's Army was formed in 2006 by Jules Sobion as a collaborative force within The Julius Caesar Entertainment Company entity. Caesar's Army promotes and personifies an ethos of 'One Love' and holds 'Uniting the Caribbean' as its main aim. The army firmly believes that if each islander embraces and experiences that commonality that holds us together as a region - our carnivals and knack for celebration - this will be the catalyst for Caribbean integration.
