Problem in America

The days of entering America as a visitor and holding down a job are fast coming to an end. There are reports of scores of persons being sent back home on suspicion that they have worked on previous visits. It has upset many an apple cart.

President for life

So now it seems we have a president for life. Some people say the mammoth effort to keep the position comes from the fact that the "perks" are many and people get treated like royalty.

Alcoholic in office

There are many reasons to support the call for public hearings for persons wishing to fill certain positions. Perhaps such scrutiny would have excluded a known alcoholic whose failure to negotiate his bathroom breaks has had serious implications for the office.

Married mate

The girlfriend of the married businessman could not understand why there was no communication from him on the weekend. Alas, he took ill suddenly, and guess who answered his mobile phone?
