The Jamaica Yellow Pages kicked off their Yellow Card Football Fever last Thursday as the 2014 Fifa World Cup got under way in Brazil. For those who took time off from work, it was a great reprieve and they enjoyed a great win from the host nation against Croatia. Although there were many who were against Brazil winning, the event was a success.

During The Football Fever, a round of beer or any beverage desired was given to patrons when a yellow card was given in the game, regardless of the side awarded the card. The first yellow card was given to Brazilian Neymar da Silva 28 minutes into the game. The second went to Croatian Vedran Corluka, and the third to another Croatian, Dejan Lovern.

Brazil supporters were not only happy with only one yellow card as it meant only one round, but they were thrilled as they watched their team score a penalty goal after the second yellow card given to Croatia.

The Jamaica Yellow Pages will continue their Yellow Card Football Fever for the duration of the World Cup, and every game they select will be enjoyed at Cuddy's Sports Bar and Grill.
