The Clarendon police are continuing investigations into the death of a wanted man.

He has been identified as twenty-five year old Gawayne Trout.

Trout’s body was reportedly found about 10 o’ clock on Wednesday night on a dirt track at Cyril Crescent in May Pen with several gunshot wounds.

The police say he was wanted in connection with the murder of a woman and for several other crimes in the Canaan Heights community in the parish.

The body of a child was also found in the parish today.

Three-year-old Miguel Turner was found in a pit at his house in Kemps Hill, Race Course.

The police say he was discovered missing by family members about 10 0’ clock yesterday morning.

They say the child’s family members later found his body in the pit. It is not yet clear how the child ended up in the pit.
