Cash Plus Boss bail extended
Cash Plus boss Carlos Hill, his brother Bertram and Chief Financial Officer, Peter Wilson are to return to court on July 17 to answer fraud charges.
When they appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrates court today, the prosecutors in the case requested more time to prepare for the hearing.
The Hill brothers and Wilson also had their bail extended by Resident Magistrate Glen Brown.
Carlos is currently on $15 million bail with sureties, his brother Bertram’s bail is $10 million, while Wilson is on a $5 million bond.
The three were charged last month following the collapse of the alternative investment scheme and complaints by investors.
Carlos has been charged with four counts of fraudulent conversion and four counts of obtaining money by false pretence.
He is also charged with one count of conspiracy to defraud.
Bertram Hill and Peter Wilson are each charged with one count of conspiracy to defraud.
