The three male teenagers who along with a church deacon were arrested and charged for the trafficking of a 14 year old schoolgirl are scheduled to reappear in court today for sentencing.

The three pleaded guilty to the 2006 incident when they appeared in the Home Circuit Court last Friday.

The former church deacon, 48 year old Donovan Jones, who is on bail is scheduled to return to court on September 22 when his trial will begin.

The court was told that in April and May 2006, the three teenagers fondled the schoolgirl while one of them video-recorded the incidents.

The teenagers and the former deacon were arrested and charged, following an exclusive report in The Gleaner newspaper.

The newspaper had obtained a copy of the recordings and called in the police to view them.
