Police investigate multiple murders
Investigators in Kingston have still not established a motive for two multiple killings in the parish yesterday.
Three men were shot dead and another shot and injured by gunmen in the Kingston 11 area yesterday afternoon.
They have been identified as Leslie Williams, 64, a mason of Flinch Crescent, Shawn Davis, 35, of Canary Avenue and Mark Pennant, 39, of Hitchens Street, Allman Town, Kingston.
According to the police, around 1 p.m. yesterday, Williams and Davis were standing on Woodpecker Avenue when a brown Honda motorcar drove up.
According to the investigators, the occupants opened fire hitting both men who died on the spot.
Shortly after a motorcar fitting the same description drove up at a shop at the intersection of Woodpecker Avenue and Mahoe Drive.
The police said the men alighted and opened fire at the customers, hitting Pennant and another man.
Pennant died on the spot, while the injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Earlier in the day, a couple was murdered inside their East Kingston home.
The police said Conrad McKnight, 26, and his girlfriend Crystal Lawrence, 20, were at their house on Hypoltye Road in Rockfort, when gunmen kicked opened a door.
The gunmen opened fire killing them on the spot.
