More Bloodshed in Kingston
A man was in hospital in critical condition after being shot along Hope Road in St. Andrew.
The incident reportedly took place at 6.25 p.m. yesterday.
The police said the man was a passenger in a motor vehicle.
They said upon reaching the intersection of Hope Road and Hope Boulevard another vehicle drove up and fired into the car in which the injured man was travelling.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition.
The police have identified the two persons who were killed in a drive by shooting in Central Kingston yesterday.
They are Margaret ‘Tina’ Campbell, 26, and Lenroy ‘Don man’ Moreland, 23, both of National Heroes Circle.
Four others who were also injured during the shooting had to be treated at hospital.
The incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. yesterday, on the Prince of Wales Street in the community.
It is understood that the six were standing at a cook shop in the community when a car drove past.
It is further reported that the car reversed to the cook shop and the occupants of the vehicle opened fire on persons who were standing outside.
