Police seek Rockfort man

The East Kingston police are seeking Christopher ‘Charlie Wapp’ Thomas in connection with the recent upsurge of violence in the community of Rockfort.



Last night, one man was shot and injured and four houses destroyed by fire on a section of Glaspole Avenue.



Superintendent of Police in charge of the Kingston Eastern Division, Assan Thompson, said between 11 p.m. and midnight, gunmen opened fire in the community and set the houses on fire.



He said the three one-bedroom and a three-bedroom house were not insured.



The police believe Christopher Thomas can assist in their investigations.



Superintendent Thompson said the police are continuing to maintain a strong presence in the community.
