Constable to appear in court

Constable Peter O’ Connor of the Freeport Police Station is scheduled to appear in court on July 23 on several charges.



Members of the Anti Corruption Branch arrested and charged him on Tuesday, with two counts of breach of the Corruption Prevention Act and unlawful Possession of Motor Vehicle.



He is also charged with fraudulent use of a License Disc and fraudulent use of Registration Plates.



He was brought before the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court where he was offered bail in the sum of $150,000 with one or more sureties.



Constable O’Connor is currently on suspension.
