Broadcasting Commission investigate cable woes
The Broadcasting Commission announced it has begun investigating the circumstances, which led to some Flow customers being without their regular cable service since last Friday.
The commission shared it was aware of the interruptions in some areas of the corporate area, in which the Allied Cable Vision Company formerly operated.
Flow acquired Allied Cable Vision several months ago.
On Friday Flow said its offices were attacked by men associated with Allied Cable Vision Company.
According to Flow four persons unlawfully and maliciously cut off its distribution signals, which serve many of its customers.
Flow claimed employees were forcibly removed and the doors to the facilities padlocked preventing access to the premises.
However, in a statement released by Allied Cable Vision Friday, the company said it took steps to recover assets previously sold to Flow.
It said Flow has refused to pay for those assets.
Allied Cable Vision said it has tried on numerous occasions to communicate with Flow over the last three months but without success.
