Gas prices down

The prices of 87 and 90-octane gasolene have been reduced by $0.11 per litre effective today.



Motorists will pay $73. 62 and $75.06 per litre for unleaded 87 and 90-octane respectively.



The price of automotive diesel oil has been increased by $1.29 to sell for $79.48.



Kerosene will be increased by $1.10 per litre to sell for $80.21.



Cooking gas will increase by $0.59 and will be sold for $43.13 per litre.



Retailers are expected to add their respective mark ups to the announced prices.



The Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (Petrojam) said the reduction in the price of some petroleum products is due to movements in the gulf reference prices.
