DPP office changes

The Director of Public Prosecutions, Paula Llewellyn says she is looking at increasing the number of crown counsels within her office.
Miss Llewellyn says the finance ministry has granted approval for the appointment of additional crown counsels, which will bring the number from thirty-three to forty.
Miss Llewellyn says she is also looking at employing three paralegals by September, and that there is also a proposal to have another deputy director of public prosecutions and two assistant directors.
Also the first phase of installing a software program to assist with case management will be introduced by next month.
