Teenager charged with illegal firearm

Delroy Payton, 18, is now in police custody following the seizure of an illegal firearm at Lincoln Road, Kingston 16 last night.



The police said they were on patrol when Payton was seen acting suspiciously.



He was reportedly stopped and searched and a 9-millimeter Smith & Wesson pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition were found on him.



He was arrested and charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
