Bethel Town teen killed

A 14 year old male student was yesterday taken into police custody following the fatal stabbing of another student at the Bethel Town All Age School in Westmoreland.



The dead boy is Kenya Kerr, 13, of York district, Bethel Town, in the parish.



The police said around 2.15 p.m. yesterday, Kerr and the older boy were involved in a dispute on the school compound.



According to the police, a knife was used to stab Kerr, who was later pronounced dead at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.



The Bethel Town police took the student into custody following investigations.
