Transport minister to meet JUTC board

Transport and Works Minister, Mike Henry, has planned a meeting for today with the board of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) regarding newspaper reports about impropriety at the bus company.



A report in the Sunday Herald yesterday made mention of questionable JUTC contracts.



Mr. Henry said he does not have enough information on the allegations made in the report because he is not involved in the day to day running of the company.



He said he would be seeking answers today after which he will issue a release on the matter.
