Manchester teen to appear in court
A teen from Manchester, who is charged with three counts of murder, is to appear in the Mandeville Resident Magistrate Court tomorrow to answer the charges.
Andre Bradford, 19, of Grey Ground in the parish has been charged for killing three women in the parish.
The police said Bradford is linked to the murder of Patricia Clayton, 41, of Grey Ground, Bridgette Bryan, 30, and Vera Bradford, 60, both of Three Chains district in the parish.
According to the police, Bradford was held in early June in connection with the murder of Clayton.
He was later implicated in the December 2006 murder of Bryan and the murder of Vera Bradford in October last year.
The police had earlier reported that around 6.30 a.m. on May 31, residents of Sherwood Acres in Heartease stumbled upon Ms. Clayton’s body.
She was found in an open lot with several stab wounds.
The police said at 8.30 a.m. on October 12 last year, family members of Mrs. Bradford went to visit her at home in Three Chains.
They discovered her nude body with multiple stab wounds in a section of the house.
On Saturday, December 15, 2006 at 8.30 p.m., Ms. Bryan left home to visit a friend in the community.
The police said when she did not arrive as expected, her friend became suspicious and alerted residents who launched a search.
Her body was later found in bushes with several stab wounds.
