Fire destroys four apartments

A house containing four apartments was damaged by fire at Lowell Avenue in Duhaney Park, Kingston last night.
The fire was reportedly discovered by occupants of the building around 8.30 p.m. coming from a section of the house.
The fire brigade was summoned, the blaze extinguished but not before a part of the house was damaged.
Loss is estimated at $3.5 million. It is not known if the house was insured.
