Swedish couple murdered

The police in Trinidad are now probing the circumstances under which a Swedish couple was killed in the Bon Accord area of Tobago yesterday.
The police say Ake Olsson, 73, and his common-law wife Anna Sundsval, 62, were murdered at their house about 10 p.m.
The police say they were called after neighbours heard screams coming from the couple’s villa.
They say they found the woman dead and the man suffering from chop wounds.
He reportedly died in hospital.
Homicide Officers say the couple was robbed as an empty vault was found in one of the bedrooms.
A manhunt has been launched for suspects.
The couple’s killing has pushed the murder toll to 416, four of which were recorded in Tobago.
