Taxi man caught with minor

Police in Portland arrested a 39 year old taxi operator after he was allegedly caught having sexual relations with a minor. The police reported that the man was arrested just around 8 p.m. last night, after he was caught in the nude performing sexual acts on a grade 7 female student of a prominent high school in the parish. The student was reportedly taken to the Port Antonio Hospital.
Last night, residents converged at the Port Antonio police station after news surfaced about the incident. Some of the residents vowed to take matters into their own hands if the man was released.
The man remains in police custody and is to be charged.
