Another meeting has been set for next Monday between the unions representing workers at the National Water Commission (NWC), and the company’s management.
The parties will be seeking to reach an agreement on several areas regarding an increase in salary and fridge benefits, which workers at the water company are demanding.
Vice president at the National Workers Union (NWU), Granville Valentine said the parties have not been able to agree on the implementation date for some aspects of the new wage deal.
Mr. Valentine says the issue of the job evaluation exercise and the alignment of the upkeep for travelling officers are among the issues.
He says the unions are hoping the issue will be resolved during Monday’s meeting.
