Spragga’s son’s murder case in court

The three policemen charged in connection with the murder of Carlton Grant Jr, the son of dancehall artiste Carlton ‘Spragga Benz’ Grant are due back in court today.
Constables Audley Lawrence and Andre Hare have both been charged with murder.
The other policeman, Sergeant Michael Blackwood, is charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Grant was killed on August 23 in downtown Kingston in what police said was a shootout.
It is alleged that Grant and another boy were riding a bicycle on their way to downtown Kingston when the police stopped them.
According to the police, Grant was shot after he opened fire on them.
However, eyewitnesses have refuted this claim.
