Two killed in St James

The police have still not found out what led to the murder of two men in St. James yesterday.
The men, who were killed during separate incidents, have been identified as Gilbert Downer, 38, and Delroy Pearce, 34.
The police said they were called to the Barnett Oval in Montego Bay around 11.30 a.m.
They found Mr. Downer’s body on a dirt track with multiple gunshot wounds.
Around 5 p.m., another police team was summoned to Sudberry district to investigate another shooting incident involving Mr. Pearce.
They said Mr. Pearce was riding his motorcycle along the roadway when he was shot.
The police said his body was found in a river with his motorcycle lying several meters away.
He two had been shot several times.
