Linstead murder

A man who was recently charged in connection to several cases of robberies was shot and killed by a gunman in Linstead, St. Catherine last night.



The police say Damion Adamson, 26, was standing at the gate to his house with a family member when a car drove up.



The occupant reportedly came out and shot him in the head.



The family member was not harmed.



The police have not yet determined the motive for the murder, but they believe it might be in connection to a criminal deal gone bad.



The police also believe that Adamson was part of a group of men involved in several robberies in the parish.



Adamson is the 20th person to be killed in Linstead since January.
