The police are seeking 25 year old Eugart Stephenson who they believe is responsible for the death of a motorcyclist over the weekend.

Daniel Bryan died on Friday night after he was hit by a speeding taxi.

The police said they were conducting searches along the Bustamante Highway in Clarendon when the car was signalled to stop.

They said the driver did not stop but instead turned off his headlights and continued driving before hitting Mr. Bryan.

He died on the spot.

The driver of the car did not stop immediately.

The police say 6 pounds of ganja was later found inside the abandoned vehicle.

Anyone knowing Mr. Stephenson’s location is being asked to contact the May Pen traffic police.

Stephenson is said to live in Barton’s District, Old Harbour, St. Catherine.

However, the police believe he’s somewhere in St. Thomas.

The police are also appealing to Mr. Stephenson to turn himself over.
