The 17 year old youth charged for the murder of a York Castle High School student was again remanded when he appeared in the St. Ann’s Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court this morning.

The teenager who attends the Brown’s Town Community College first appeared in court on February 11.

The body of 16 year old Nisa Grant was found with the throat slashed on the second floor of an unfinished house in Brown’s Town on February 5.

Her ex-boyfriend was taken into custody after he reported to the police that he and Nisa were attacked by armed men.

However investigators later revealed that the youth was responsible for the girl’s murder.
