Investigators await forensic results

Investigators in St. Thomas are now awaiting the results of forensic tests to determine if the man arrested for the murder of 9 year old Courtney Walker is to be charged.



Courtney, a student of the Morant Bay Primary School in St Thomas was sexually molested and killed in the Bamboo River community yesterday.



The police say he was heading to a shop when he was attacked.



The police say the man accused of his murder is still being questioned.



Following his arrest the Thomas Police spent several hours trying to quell angry residents who were demanding that he be turned over to them.



The identity of the suspect is being withheld pending further investigations.
