The Jamaica Labour Party’s (JLP) Member of Parliament elect for West Portland Daryl Vaz is to be sworn in next week Tuesday.

This follows the completion of the recount of ballots in Monday’s by-election.

The PNP’s Kenneth Rowe gained 7 more votes pushing him to a total of 5,633.
