St James double murder and a shooting in St Catherine

Two men were killed in Hendon, Norwood this afternoon after they were attacked by a group of men.
The men have been identified as 37 year old Deverton Marlin and Odaine O’Connor both of Hendon, Norwood.
The police report that just after 2pm the two men were at a woodwork shop when two armed men entered the building and opened fire hitting them.
Marlin was pronounced dead at hospital while O’Connor died while undergoing treatment.
In another incident, the St. Catherine police are investigating the killing of one of two men who were shot in Sligoville in the parish this afternoon.
The two men were shot on the Jackson main road about 2.15pm..
The dead man is Steven Cooper of Bog Walk while injured is another man of Top Hill in the parish.
