Highway 2000 on target

Transport Minister Mike Henry announced the Mount Rosser segment of the Ocho Rios leg of Highway 2000 is on target.
The project, which began in June last year, is to be completed in December 2009.
Mr. Henry and a contingent from the National Road Operating and Constructing Company (NROCC), will be touring the project today.
The government is spending $7 billion on the Mount Rosser segment of Highway 2000.
The money will cover land acquisitions, road construction and toll plaza utilities for the 24 kilometre four lane dual carriageway.
