The second group of workers whose positions are to be made redundant at the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) are to be sent home today.
Last Friday, the first 100 positions were made redundant.
The workers are being sent home as part of a restructuring exercise being carried out by the bus company.
Vice president of the University and Allied Workers Union (UAWU) Clifton Grant said he expects a smooth process.
He said the redundancy process is in keeping with an agreement between the JUTC and the UAWU.
The redundancy exercise is to be completed by the end of the month.
