Kadrian Goldson, Jamaica’s only representative in the men’s 200 metres, failed to progress to the final of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England on Friday.

Goldson, who competed in semi-finals heat two, finished sixth in a time of 21.13 seconds. That semi-final was won by Nigeria’s Udodi Chudi Onwuzurike who crossed the tape in 20.59 seconds.

The Caribbean will also be represented by Trinidad and Tobago’s Jereem Richards who heads into the final with the second fastest time.

The men’s 200 metres final is set for Saturday at 3:18 pm Jamaica time.
